Bonnie "Faye" Sanders

Bonnie "Faye" Sanders, age 83, of Wooster, entered into rest to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 17th at West View Manor Nursing Center in Wooster. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating followed by interment at Wooster Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening (Thursday) from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at: www.custerglenn.com. She was born on August 4, 1928 in Grundy, VA. to James Lee and Ocie Halle (Williamson) Street and has been a Wooster resident for most of her life. She married Matthew Sanders, Jr. on September 9, 1950 in Mavisdale, VA. He entered into rest on August 24, 2000. Along with being a devoted homemaker, she worked at West View Manor Nursing Center as a Nurses Aide and then as a Residential Private Caregiver for many years. She had attended Four Square Gospel Church (Church Of The Light) in Wooster for many years and most recently attended Mt.Zion Church of God in Wooster. She had a passion for helping those in need and also serving with a strong faith. She enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by 3 sons, Michael Steven (Vickie)Sanders of Warner Robins, GA., Roger Lee (Carol) Sanders of Lebanon, Ohio and Timothy Allen (Jerri) Sanders of Fredericksburg, Ohio; a daughter, Mindy (Mark) Cavin of Wooster; 12 grandchildren and 15 Great-Grandchildren; 2 sisters, Margie Clevenger of Wooster and Marie Meekins of Mount Vernon, Ohio and a brother, Bob Street of Maryland ; and her many special friends from West View Manor. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Street.
