Norm E. Kline

Norm E. Kline, age 70, of Wooster, entered into rest, Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 at Wooster Community Hospital where he was surrounded by his loving family following a period of declining health. Services will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster with Pastor Tom Geissinger officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later time at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wooster. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 5 - 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: American Heart Association, 3505 Embassy Pkwy #100 Akron, Ohio 44333-8403. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at: www.custerglenn.com. He was born on May 11, 1941 in Lodi, Ohio to Harold Marion, Sr. and Ethel N. (Norris) Kline and has been a Wayne County resident for all of his life. He married Charlotte Ann Yergin on July 23, 1961 in Ashland. She survives. After graduating from Northwestern High School he then worked for the FritoLay Co.; then with the former RexRoth Co. and then worked in the carpentry trade for both Imhoff Construction Co. and then for himself for many years. He proceeded to work for Smetzer Tire Co. in Medina, Ohio before Owning & Operating his own fishing charter service while fishing throughout the great lakes region for many years. He attended Mount Zion Church Of God in Wooster; enjoyed coon hunting and fishing and a sports enthusiast who enjoyed basketball; also loved to travel to Florida when he got the chance. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his children, Ron Kline of Glenmont, Ohio; Sheila (Larry) Mottmiller of Oregon, Ohio and Brian (Becky) Kline of Jeromesville; 4 grandsons and 3 granddaughters; a brother, Herald M. Kline of Wooster and 4 sisters, Connie (Norman) Gregg of Fredericksburg, Lori Kline of Smithville, Karla (Steve) Scott of Massillon, and Elizabeth "Liz" (Matt) of Dalton, Ohio; an aunt, Lois Mae Fogle of Ashland; an Uncle, Chester Lee Jr. (Edna) Norris of Wooster; a sister-in-law, Linda Kline of Georgia and numerous Nieces and Nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, David and a sister, Mary.
