Sara L. Pais

Sara "Sally" (Jenkins) (Ellison) Pais,76 of Mount Gilead and formerly of Orrville, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place with no memorial service to be held. Her thoughts were, "When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me; please do not cry in a gloom-filled room for a soul that God's set free". She was born on September 10, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio, to William Ronald and Edith Lucille (Myers) Jenkins. In 1969, she married Emil Pais of North Ridgeville, Ohio. He passed away August 12, 2004. She was a graduate of the International Graphoanalysis Society and taught classes in Handwriting Analysis. She also worked for the State of Ohio Employment Bureau in Wooster. Several years before retiring, Sara was an independent Avon Consultant receiving the "President's Club Award" and the prestigious "Golden Albee Award" for sales in excess of $100,000 per year. In recognition of her outstanding sales accomplishments, she and her husband traveled to Hawaii, the Bahamas, New York City and Las Vegas. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening and cooking. Surviving are her children Mark (Sue) Ellison of Shreve and Eve (Dean) Schmid of Mount Gilead; step-daughters, Tedi (Curt) Ewing of Homeworth, Jan (Tim) Marks of Wellington, and Kim (Tom) Forkapa of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathy (Denny) Groseclose of Florida; in-laws, Eleanor Pais, Genevieve Mallow, and William (Joanne) Pais. In addition to her parents and loving husband, she is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Joanne and Nancy. Her wish was to live in the hearts of those she loved until we meet again.
